We are thrilled to have Lynnou Modestin join BBP/Alera as a Benefits Analyst. Lynnou comes to BBP after working at American Renal Associates in Beverly, Massachusetts in their Human Resources department. Lynnou worked as a Benefits Administrative Assistant helping staff navigate their benefits and troubleshoot employee questions. She worked directly with the carriers and vendors that provided various coverages to American Renal Associates. In addition to Lynnou’s direct interactions with employees and staff, she also assisted in the transition from ADP to UKG as a Human Resources and workforce management system.

Lynnou attended Suffolk University in Boston, Massachusetts graduating with a Bachelor of Science (with honors) degree after majoring in Management and Global Business. Lynnou was especially active on campus including working as a Resident Assistant for three years and as an Office Aid in the Student Leadership and Involvement Office. Finally, Lynnou served as the President of the Suffolk University Caribbean Student Network planning fundraisers and drawing attention to issues prevalent in Caribbean communities. Lynnou was certainly devoted to improving the lives of Suffolk students on campus!

Lynnou is a Benefits Analyst and as such, is assigned to a few client teams and many special projects. Her responsibilities include claims data reporting and analysis, drafting required documents for compliance purposes, and supporting all client initiatives. She is especially skilled at document review and highlighting important provisions and discrepancies. Lynnou has recently been assigned a key role working with the new 2023 Alera National Employee Benefits Benchmarking database generating specific reports for clients.

Lynnou comes from a large family and in her spare time she enjoys traveling and planning special events with family and friends. Lynnou also enjoys reading, drinking coffee, and taking in the summer heat before the return of a New England winter.
