BBP/Alera is fortunate to have another Friar join our team! Colin Fitzpatrick graduated from Providence College in Providence, Rhode Island in May 2023. Colin graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree with a double major in Business Economics and History. Colin excelled in academics consistently making the Dean’s List during his four years at PC. In addition to devoting time to his classes, Colin served on the Academic Advisory Council after a nomination by the History Department. Colin provided a student perspective on several issues impacting curriculum and student life. Colin was also involved with fundraising for the Make-A-Wish Foundation and worked as a middle school lacrosse coach playing a role in their undefeated season.

Colin also held several positions during his college years including time with the United States Air Force as a Contracting and Procurement civilian intern during the summer of 2022. He assisted with operating contracts for Air Force installations in New England. Colin also conducted market research comparing vendor cost and technical ability. His experiences also included team meetings with both military personnel and civilians to update on contract review and findings. These types of experiences will serve Colin well in his consulting role at BBP/Alera.

As a Benefits Analyst Colin has been assigned to a few client teams and many special projects. He will perform claims data reporting and analysis, draft required documents for compliance purposes, and support all client initiatives. With Open Enrollment around the corner for many of our clients, some of Colin’s first projects will include drafting refreshed employee-facing materials.

When Colin isn’t working you can find him playing 18 on the course or spending time with his two dogs, Tucker, and TJ, back in Western Massachusetts.
