Carol Chandor

Carol co-founded Boston Benefit Partners, LLC with Piper McNealy and Kathryn Tolan in 1998.

As a former stop loss Underwriting Manager for Safeco Insurance and Managing Consultant for a large international benefit, actuarial, and consulting firm, Carol believed there was opportunity in the industry for a team-based employee benefit consulting firm committed to service, top level expertise and data-driven solutions. BBP was founded based on those principles.

Today, BBP is one of Inc. Magazine’s fastest growing private companies, and is recognized as a leader in the employee benefits field. In addition, Carol has provided extensive education, training and consulting services to several large international entities and public sector unions.

Carol would say that the success of the firm is 100% attributable to the expertise and dedication of the amazing people that work at BBP.  “Any firm can have expertise, but not all firms can create cohesive teams that continually raise the bar and exceed expectations each and every day.”

In addition to working with clients, Carol serves on the Advisory Board of Rosie’s Place and co-chairs the “Funny Women…Serious Business” fundraiser.  She graduated with a B.A. from the University of Northern Colorado and is a member of the New England Employee Benefits Council and the International Foundation of Employee Benefits.
