Ben is a recent addition to our BBP team. He joined BBP in October 2021 as a Benefits Analyst. Ben graduated from the University of New Hampshire, Durham (go Wildcats) in 2019. Ben received a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with a minor in Economics. Ben is also currently pursuing a Master’s in Public Policy with a concentration in healthcare management at Northeastern University in Boston. While in college, Ben worked as a human resources intern, provided feedback on HRIS software before roll-out, and gained a beginner’s understanding on policy skills as a state senate intern.
Ben joins BBP after two-plus years of working as a data specialist at a Massachusetts-based software company focusing on commercial healthcare intelligence. Ben conducted online research to collect, update, and verify data. Ben also worked to enhance data quality and consistency through targeted research projects.
Ben’s responsibilities at BBP focus on assisting client teams with a range of assignments, including helping with Open Items checklists, requesting renewals and annual budgeting exhibits, and gathering claims/health plan data for monthly experience reports. In addition, Ben will work on various information-related projects including claims dashboards and other data visualization reports.
When not working or studying, Ben enjoys sharing his time with family and friends. He looks forward to traveling again soon - especially to Martha’s Vineyard in the summer. In his free time, you can find Ben at the gym or spending time in South Boston.
