Shannon joined BBP as a Benefits Analyst in the summer of 2019. Shannon is a graduate of Providence College where she earned her degree in Health Policy and Management and minors in both Finance and Business Studies. She is proud to be the fourth PC Friar to join BBP’s team of talented employees.
During college, Shannon gained valuable experience as an intern at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center and Lifespan. While attending PC, she worked alongside the Chair of the Health Policy Management department to co-author two chapters in a reference book titled “Across the Aisle.” Additionally, Shannon was a member of the PC Alumni Legacy Committee. In this role, Shannon coordinated various networking events for PC’s vast alumni network.
As a part of the BBP team, Shannon supports clients and internal team members on a variety of assignments, including the RFP process, assisting with new vendor implementations, updating and creating Open Enrollment communications, and onboarding new BBP clients. She also works on various internal team projects as well, such as the Client Summit Committee, event planning, new hire searches and as a peer mentor for newly hired analysts.
Shannon loves to be outdoors. Whether she is traveling to the beach or exploring a new local hiking trail, she treasures spending as much time as possible outdoors. During the summer months, don’t be surprised if you see Shannon cycling or walking the beaches in Martha’s Vineyard.
