Kathryn Tolan is a Founding Partner at Boston Benefit Partners and is credited with developing the methodical processes and systems that have distinguished our firm for the last 23 years.
Kathryn is excited to be part of the Alera Group organization and is especially appreciative of the warm welcome and generous offers of support from her new Alera colleagues.
Known throughout the industry, Kathryn has successfully completed a wide variety of complex projects in the public, non-profit and private sectors, and is recognized as a technical expert in the Affordable Care Act (ACA), COBRA and HIPAA.
Managing large, multi-state accounts, Kathryn brings over 30 years of benefits and compliance expertise to her clients and assists them in developing strategies that meet their financial and human resource objectives and goals.
As a leader she engages all new employees in our processes and has been a remarkable trainer and mentor to each of our consultants and analysts.
She has an undergraduate degree from the University of Massachusetts Amherst and is a member of both the International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans (IFEBP) and the New England Employee Benefits Council (NEEBC).
Kathryn and her husband have three grown (mostly!) children. While Kathryn calls Belmont, Massachusetts home, she and her husband (and their two Golden Retrievers) love spending time in the Green Mountain State.
