John Brouder



John joined BBP in 2000 and was a Partner in the firm for almost twenty years. John recently retired from his full-time position, but will continue to work with BBP on a consulting basis.

With graduate degrees from Tufts University and Harvard University's Kennedy School of Government, John brings over 30 years of experience in the private, non-profit, and public sectors.

A frequent speaker at national and local benefit conferences, he is an expert in the area of dental financing and coding.

As an important team leader, John develops creative solutions to both private and public sector clients and has led a dozen procurement projects for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Group Insurance Commission, the Connector Authority (Massachusetts Public Exchange) plus numerous public sector union organizations.

John served on the Board of Directors of the New England Employee Benefits Council (NEEBC) from 1992 to 2008, including a term as President of that organization from 2002 to 2004. He also served two terms as an appointed member of the National Government Finance Officers Association’s Committee on Retirement and Benefit Administration.

John enjoys spending time in New Hampshire where you can find him equally at home on a kayak or snowshoes.
