Robyn Olson, Consultant
Robyn joined Boston Benefit Partners, LLC (BBP) in 2009. Known for her in-depth understanding of health policy, she is a key member of the firm and ensures each BBP client is compliant with national health care reform legislative changes as well as changes that are made at the state level. Robyn's responsibilities as consultant include: managing projects related to the implementation of new benefit and wellness programs for clients; providing a continuous and comprehensive level of support for any and all matters related to client benefit programs; monitoring spending and budgets for clients to ensure financial objectives are met; and preparing annual renewal reports, monthly claims and experience reports, and other ad hoc or client-requested financial analyses.
Robyn started her career as a clinical dental hygienist and, while working, continued her education and, eventually, became an educator herself. Robyn began teaching at the Forsyth School for Dental Hygienists and later was appointed Assistant Dean of the program.
Robyn has a PhD in Public Affairs, a Master of Public Administration with specialization in Health Administration and Policy, and a Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene, all from Northeastern University in Boston, Massachusetts. Robyn's proudest achievement was the completion of her doctorate while continuing to work.
Robyn enjoys travel, especially to Italy, reading for pleasure, golfing, skiing and other outdoor activities. She also spends most weekends year round on Cape Cod. Robyn gives back to her school and community by mentoring students and advocating for health issues for children, the elderly and other populations with special needs.
