Samantha joined Boston Benefit Partners, LLC (BBP) as the first employee when the firm was founded in 1998, and is a key member of the organization. As a consultant, Samantha is responsible for preparing and executing daily client and vendor requests, managing the annual consulting calendar, providing financial analyses, reviewing all contract documents, and preparing Form 5500 Annual Return Reports and Summary Annual Reports. She is well versed in legislative matters and has a proven track record for managing clients with complex benefit programs.
Her project work has included: assisting with the development of a Health Management Initiative program for MAPFRE U.S.A. Corp., working on several studies including the life insurance, FSA, and mental health coverages for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Group Insurance Commission (GIC), assisting with employee benefit surveys and attending focus groups for Forrester Research, Inc., and conducting marketing and carrier negotiations for Sonus Networks, Inc., LoJack Corporation, Hebrew SeniorLife, and Rosie's Place.
Samantha attended Northeastern University and then began her professional career at a regional consulting firm in Boston, Massachusetts. At BBP, she developed her technical expertise in a wide variety of employee benefits and was promoted to consultant in 2005.
Recognized for her client management and organizational skills, Samantha continues to serve on a variety of internal committees to assure our processes, Requests for Proposals and other deliverables are consistent and compliant with recent legislative changes and/or trends in the industry.
