Piper
McNealy began her professional career in sales and account
management at NCR Corporation, and then began her consulting
career in Denver, Colorado at one of the top international
consulting firms. Later, she joined a regional consulting
firm, in Boston, Massachusetts, as a Senior Consultant. Ms.
McNealy has extensive experience providing benefits consulting
advice to clients on the evaluation, design, communication,
and implementation of group health, life, and disability plans.
Specific
career experience includes:

Analyzing
and consolidating the employee benefits program for a
large management firm with over 100 nationwide subsidiaries.

Developing cafeteria plan flex pricing and overall benefits
program budgeting for a large manufacturing company.

Reviewing and evaluating outsourcing firms offering administration
services for COBRA, flexible spending accounts, and enrollment
communications for a software technology firm.

Performing a benefits compliance audit with respect to
federal regulations and state requirements for a large
regional supermarket chain.

Analyzing, designing and implementing benefit programs
for a leading mechanical and electrical construction and
facilities service provider with an aggressive acquisition
philosophy. Maintaining close relationships with senior
management to streamline the benefit program and provide
equitable, comprehensive benefits to over 40 subsidiary
locations.

Analyzing and enhancing the competitive market of a large
United States governmental agency to improve and market
the long-term disability program offered on a fully voluntary
basis to its 70,000 employees. Through plan design and
carrier negotiations, Ms. McNealy and her team reduced
the annual premium costs for employees by 20%.
Ms.
McNealy graduated magna cum laude from Babson College with
a B.S. in Business Administration, is a licensed Massachusetts
insurance broker, and is pursuing her CEBS certification.
She is a member of the New England Employee Benefits Council
(NEEBC), the International Foundation of Employee Benefit
Plans (IFEBP), a member of the Chamber of Commerce, a Member
of the Anniversary Committee for Rosie's Place, and a Trustee
of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.
